Sad and emotional are closer to the same thing than to different here, though not quite aligned. What is in this set is the down end of the catalogue, led by guitar, piano and pads.

"my escape" is the most played, and the standout of the beats I sampled from myself. I played the guitar and sang a short take in a Shiloh Dynasty mood, then sampled that into the beat — so the part carrying it exists on this beat and nowhere else.

Artists mostly write heartbreak, melancholy, loss or despair to these. Anything low can be channelled into something worth keeping.

Recording tip: A mellow delivery works best — a non-aggressive rap tone, or light vocals. Autotune is fine, just not too heavy.
